Abstract

Dr. Alburaki is a honeybee specialist, currently working as a Scientific Researcher with the United States Department of Agriculture USDA, at the Bee Research Laboratory BRL in Beltsville, MD, USA. Dr. Alburaki holds a Ph.D. in honeybee genetics and diversity from the University of Pierre and Marie Curie, Paris, France. His research focuses on studying the effects of various biotic and abiotic stressors on honey bee health and performance. He published many scientific papers in the field of honey bee genetics and participated in dozens of national and international conferences as an invited speaker. Dr. Alburaki has served the Ahmadiyya Jama’t in different capacities (General Secretary, Moderator of Arab Events, Tabligh Events for Arab Communities) and most recently as a Qur’an and Arabic Teacher at the Tahir Academy in MD, USA
