Abstract

Cosmology is a subject that has been a topic of high interest from the beginning of
history. Almost all religions, philosophies and mythologies have discussed
cosmology in some way. Holy Quran has the unique distinction of opening up this
topic and providing very concrete facts about the origin and make of the universe,
galaxies, stars and planets, as well as how the whole system is working and where
is it leading.
This paper introduces the topic from some discussion done by Hadhrat Mirza Tahir
Ahmad (aba), in his book ‘Revelation, Rationality, Knowledge and Truth’, and takes
it further, exploring some latest discoveries and what does the Holy Quran says
about these discoveries. One such discovery is the concept of nothingness. i.e. the
universe was created from nothing.
