Revision, Correction & Retraction Policy
At Consortium Publisher - ICDTD Inc., Canada, we uphold the highest standards of integrity and transparency in academic publishing. In compliance with the guidelines set forth by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), we have established a comprehensive policy for revisions, corrections, and retractions of published articles. Our goal is to ensure the reliability of the scientific record while maintaining ethical research practices.
Article Revisions or Correction
Authors may request revisions to their published articles under the following conditions:
· Minor errors that do not impact the main findings of the research.
· Updates to methodologies, references, or supplementary data that enhance the article’s clarity and validity.
· Ethical considerations requiring minor modifications.
Authors should submit a formal revision request, which will undergo editorial evaluation. If accepted, the revised article will be published with a notice indicating the updates made.
Corrections
If errors are identified in a published article, Consortium Publisher - ICDTD Inc. follows these correction procedures:
· Minor Corrections: Editorial errors such as typographical mistakes, minor data inconsistencies, or formatting issues that do not affect the study’s conclusions. A correction notice will be issued in the same journal issue.
· Major Corrections: Substantial errors in data, analysis, or interpretation that impact the conclusions. A corrected version of the article will be published along with an official correction statement linked to the original publication.
Article Retractions Policy
Articles may be retracted in cases of:
· Evidence of data fabrication, falsification, or plagiarism.
· Ethical violations, including conflicts of interest or lack of informed consent.
· Serious methodological errors rendering the findings unreliable.
· Duplicate publication or unauthorized content reuse.
The retraction process follows COPE guidelines, ensuring:
· A transparent investigation involving the author(s), peer reviewers, and editorial board.
· A public retraction notice explaining the reason for retraction.
· Retention of the original article with a watermark stating it has been retracted, while ensuring proper indexing.
Post-Retraction Policy
Retracted articles remain in the journal archive with clear labeling to maintain the integrity of academic discourse. Authors may submit a revised version for fresh peer review if the errors can be rectified ethically and scientifically.
Appeals and Disputes
Authors have the right to appeal decisions related to revisions, corrections, or retractions. Appeals must be submitted with detailed justifications and supporting evidence. The final decision will be made by the editorial board following COPE recommendations.
